Corruption:
According to 2016 best ranking countries, Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Corruption is the single most impediment to Nigeria’s growth and development. It has permeated into every fiber of the Nigerian traditional, religious and circular society. The Obasanjo’s administration budgeted billions of dollars for power supply. Goodluck Jonathan’s administration did the same, yet there is no city in Nigeria where citizens can enjoy uninterrupted seven days of power supply. Airports throughout the most populated country in Africa are in deplorable condition due to corruption; roads are poorly designed, constructed, maintained and infested with government armed (police, customs, army) robbers who fleece the poor of their hard earn money because of corruption; mass transit system does not exist because of corruption; public drinking water system does not function because of corruption; sewage and wastes are dumped into rivers and lands without treatment because of corruption; public schools at the primary, secondary and university levels are all in disgraceful states because of corruption. Medical system is in awful state because of corruption. Nothing gets done without bribe being paid. Civil servants don’t get their retirements without paying bribe. Business can’t be established without bribing government officials. Public office is ticket to self-enrichment. As a result, the entire country suffers. Security is left to individuals who can afford it. Most citizens can’t afford two square meals a day. Hunger, poverty, disease, forced migration are some of what Nigerians have to face because of corruption.
The USNIPAC’s goal is to fight this disease both within and outside the boarders of Nigeria. We will work with western and international governments around the world to ensure these countries cease to be the havens where politicians and public servants steal public funds and starch them away while local people suffer. Corruption causes poverty and to be poor is to be dislocated from the rest of society. Let’s join hands in reducing corruption and hence poverty from Nigeria.
Islamic Terrorism:
The primary role and function of any government is the protection of her citizens. Any government or political party that abdicate this role is completely unfit to lead any nation or people. Mr. Buhari came into Nigeria’s presidency as an ill president and spent a chunk of his time in the hospital outside Nigeria. President Buhari did not pay for his medical bills neither has Nigerian seen the total cost of his hospitalization in European hospital. Many Nigerians wished him well and prayed for his speedy recovery. Upon his return, one of his first actions was to send his Fulani armed men in military uniforms to confront, arrest, brutalize, convict, execute as prosecutor, defense, judge and juror and bury in mass graves unarmed Biafra agitators in southern Nigeria. Meanwhile, he has not confronted nor arrested Boko Haram Islamic terrorists in the northeast. Next, he has armed his Fulani herdsmen with cattle and AK47 to terrorize and butcher innocent men, women and unarmed Nigerian children without any defense. His silence and inaction clearly shows whose side he is. Mr. Buhari has shown that he is clearly on the side of Islamic terrorism in Nigeria. USNIPAC condemns the action of Mr. Buhari and call for his impeachment from the presidency of Nigeria. He has demonstrated his unfitness to govern Nigeria by skewing all his major appointments to one region of the country while arming his Fulani criminal gangs to terrorize and butcher unarmed Nigerians. This man is unfit and should be removed from the office or the least, should be voted out of office during the next election.
Nigeria 2019:
Nigeria has competent and capable leaders with vision and drive to take her to the next level, but corruption and unchecked greed has kept her from her properly place among developed countries. The black man anywhere in the world will not be respected until, Nigeria demonstrate that it can properly govern and lead her people into prosperity. As 2019 elections come, Nigerians must realize that they must all be engaged and ensure the election of leaders whose interests are the welfare and development of Nigeria. Nigerians must reject past politicians who participated and supported the looting of public funds. Nigerians must demand for free and fair elections at all levels. Citizens must demand for transparent elections at the primary levels in all political parties, including APC and PDP. All forms of electoral violence must be condemned.
